At Energipole, the production of renewable energy is a central pillar of our approach to the circular economy. We develop and operate facilities that transform waste into energy resources, thereby making a concrete contribution to the energy transition of the regions.

Our solutions: from matter to energy

Photovoltaic

We operate several photovoltaic power plants that contribute directly to the energy independence of our facilities and to the local production of electricity:

Ecodec (Guadeloupe): a 400 kW photovoltaic power plant integrated into the sorting centre.
AER (Guadeloupe): production of 807 MWh per year thanks to solar panels installed on site.
Energipole Espérance (Guadeloupe): our solar power plant produces 4.6 GWh each year, i.e. the annual consumption of 4,200 inhabitants, while reducing its carbon footprint by 3,850 tonnes of CO₂.

Biogas recovery

At our Energipole Espérance site, we harness the energy potential of non-hazardous residual waste. Thanks to an efficient industrial solution:

We capture and utilise the biogas generated by the degradation of waste,
This process produces 8,420 MWh of electricity per year.

Methanisation and biowaste: turnkey solutions

Energipole Solutions designs and builds custom-made sorting and methanisation units. We have developed a comprehensive and innovative offering for the recovery of organic waste:

Robotic sorting of biowaste collected in bags, incorporating artificial intelligence (AI) and robotics
Preparation of biowaste, whether packaged or not
Continuous dry methanisation with biogas production and return of compost to the soil
