At Energipole, the production of renewable energy is a core pillar of our circular economy approach. We develop and operate facilities that convert waste into energy resources, thereby contributing directly to the energy transition of local territories.

Our solutions: from material to energy

Photovoltaic

We operate several solar photovoltaic plants that contribute both to the energy self-sufficiency of our facilities and to local electricity production:

Ecodec (Guadeloupe): a 400 kW photovoltaic plant integrated within the sorting centre.
AER (Guadeloupe): production of 807 MWh per year thanks to on-site solar panels.
Energipole Espérance (Guadeloupe): our solar plant produces 4.6 GWh per year, equivalent to the annual consumption of 4,200 residents, while achieving a 3,850-ton reduction in CO₂ emissions.

Biogas valorisation

At our Energipole Espérance site, we harness the energy potential of non-hazardous residual waste through an efficient industrial process:

Capture and recovery of biogas generated by waste degradation
Electricity production: 8,420 MWh per year

Methanisation and biowaste: turnkey solutions

Energipole Solutions designs and builds custom sorting and methanisation units.
We have developed a comprehensive and innovative offering for the recovery of organic waste:

Robotic sorting of biowaste bags using artificial intelligence (AI) and robotics
Pre-treatment of biowaste, whether packaged or unpackaged
Continuous dry methanisation, producing biogas and returning compost to the soil
