At La Crau, vehicle recycling supports firefighter training
On our La Crau site, part of Energipole Recycling, we don’t just recycle metals — we also contribute to emergency response training.
Specialised in decontaminating and recycling End-of-Life Vehicles (ELVs), the site now hosts firefighters from Hyères for real-life extrication training, thanks to a partnership with SDIS 83.
Full-scale training to save lives
Twice a week, firefighters train on real vehicles supplied by our site, enabling them to:
🚒 Rehearse realistic intervention scenarios
🧰 Practise precise rescue techniques
🤝 Strengthen teamwork and coordination
These sessions ensure teams are faster, more accurate and better prepared — because in rescue operations, every second counts.
A partnership with real purpose
Energipole Recycling is proud to support the operational readiness of firefighters and to contribute to public safetythrough this meaningful collaboration.
A heartfelt thank-you to the Hyères firefighters for their dedication and trust.
