A strategic acquisition for Energiserv
Energiserv Mondelange has finalised the acquisition of the business operations of Gepor, a subsidiary of ArcelorMittal operating the private ports of Richemont-Mondelange and Thionville–Illange.
This major transaction strengthens Energiserv’s activities in industrial logistics, handling and sustainable development.
In addition, Energiserv Mondelange has signed long-term emphyteutic leases with ArcelorMittal France and ArcelorMittal Gandrange for the land on which both private ports are located.
Multimodal hubs at the heart of industrial flows
The ports of Richemont-Mondelange and Thionville–Illange are strategic multimodal platforms, connected to waterway, rail and road transport networks.
These facilities are key assets for driving logistics transition and decarbonising industrial transport in the Grand Est region.
