Our subsidiary had the pleasure of being invited by ArcelorMittal Europe to participate in the Long Products’ Safety Partnership Event held in Luxembourg, an event dedicated to sharing best practises in health and safety among partners.
During this event, Energiserv also had the opportunity to present a project as part of the H&S Award 2025. This award highlights projects or initiatives in the field of Health & Safety in 2025. Among the 39 proposals, our project was shortlisted by an internal jury.
🚨 Specifically, our initiative, implemented in October 2025 at the Belval site, aims to secure the handling of cut metal waste. This project involves replacing manual hook chains with radio-controlled automatic hooks, thereby avoiding direct contact between the operator and the load and significantly reducing the risks of injury and material falls.
We may not have won, but the mere fact of being shortlisted highlights the daily commitment of our teams on the ground to enhance safety.
🙏🏼 Thank you to Chloé REICHART, Jonathan Zagaria, and Kadir Larbi for the useful innovation in our everyday lives💡
A big thank you also to ArcelorMittal Europe for the invitation and the organisation of this event that promotes the sharing of best practises among partners.
Because safety is not an option: it is a collective responsibility.
