Energipole Antilles had the pleasure of participating this Tuesday, 18th November, in the Key Figures Seminar on Waste and Circular Economy, organised by ORDEC at the headquarters of Crédit Agricole Guadeloupe, in Les Abymes.
What was the purpose?
To share the evolution of our sorting platform Ecodec, at the heart of the transition towards the extension of sorting guidelines planned for 2026.
✨ What to remember:
• A rapidly growing activity: 7,500 tonnes of recyclables processed in 2024 (+66% over 5 years).
• A clear need for modernisation to meet future requirements.
• A new sorting line that is more automated, more ergonomic, and suitable for all plastic packaging.
• Ambitious goals: +10% capture in the first year, rising to +20% the following year.
• A project already underway, aiming for operational launch in spring 2026.
A valuable moment of exchange to advance, together, the sustainable management of waste in Guadeloupe. Thank you to ORDEC for the organisation and to all participants for the quality of the discussions.
Let us continue together to advance waste management and to build ever more responsible solutions for the Caribbean.
