The teams from Energipole Remediation have just completed a safety operation at the NOBLITEX / GUERIN / Les Biots industrial wasteland, located in Cours (Rhône). Covering an area of 2.3 hectares, this site required a rigorous technical intervention to manage risks and protect the environment.
As part of this mission, our teams accomplished:
✔️ the securing of the site and its access points, particularly in light of the risk of building instability;
✔️ the securing of work areas in the presence of asbestos (intervention in sub-section 4);
✔️ the search for buried tanks using ground-penetrating radar;
✔️ the identification and characterisation of waste: sampling, on-site and laboratory analyses, followed by the definition of appropriate management pathways;
✔️ the collection, reconditioning, and transfer of hazardous waste present on the site to storage areas, including materials containing asbestos;
✔️ the securing of tanks based on the results of analyses (draining, cleaning), notably involving the heating, pumping, and cleaning of two heavy fuel oil tanks of 30 m³;
✔️ the disposal of hazardous waste to approved recovery and disposal centres.
This operation fully illustrates our expertise in securing degraded sites and managing orphaned sites, ensuring an intervention that complies with safety and environmental protection requirements.
